Programme outline

Andrew Thorp introduces us to the concept of ‘story-selling’, a way for you to package and deliver a message so it stands out connects with your audience. This workshop is all about winning people over, getting into their shoes, speaking their language, being credible and respected - talking in a way where the audience leans forward and listens. It’s a form of soft persuasion and will help you build strong, productive relationships.

During this webinar you will learn:

  • What storytelling is in a business context and how to apply it to your advantage.
  • How to package and deliver a persuasive message in different situations.
  • How to paint pictures and use your voice effectively.
  • Why story-listening and dialogue matters too.
  • How to build a library of wisdom and develop the skill of rehearsed spontaneity.

Learning outcomes:

  • How to make a dry topic more interesting for a lay audience.
  • How to persuade by appealing to head and heart.
  • How to build a library of material from the everyday world.
