This is your opportunity to come together online with your local CIMA community. We may still be isolated, but we are not alone.
Join the South West England and South Wales Area’s Virtual Business Forum, where you will have the opportunity to meet and talk with fellow CIMA members from around the area.

During this session our speaker, James Spencer, will talk through how Taxfiler's cloud software uses the trial balance to produce both the final accounts and the CT600. This session will be especially of interest to Members in Practice, or people considering becoming Members in Practice and accountants working in SMEs.
This is your opportunity to ask 1 to 1 questions, which is not possible in the webinar arena.
Due to the continued COVID-19 restrictions we are unable to host our usual area events programme. Therefore, we will be hosting monthly Virtual Business Forums, which will provide an opportunity to share expertise, knowledge, wisdom, ideas and experience of people across a range of businesses in a friendly, informal and confidential setting.
Our Virtual Business Forums are held on the second Wednesday of the month between 6pm – 7.30pm.
At each session we will focus on a ‘hot topic’, this will include a 30-40 minute talk by an expert speaker followed by the opportunity to discuss, share experience and knowledge, discuss any problems, and receive advice and guidance.
For many people, this continues to be a very challenging time and whilst there will be a focus on business matters, we also hope to make the sessions relatively informal, providing you with an opportunity to see a friendly face and speak to a number of different people.
We understand the need to provide a safe space where you can feel comfortable in seeking advice from others and have open conversations. As such, we have made the decision to follow ‘Chatham House rules’ and will be not be recording these sessions, and all participants must refrain from taking screenshots or making their own recording. This is to ensure that everybody at the sessions feel at ease and can be open as they wish to be.
