Mindfulness has become increasingly popular as a way of developing good emotional and mental health, but what does it have to teach us about the way we lead. Mindful leadership is about a centred and balanced approach to how we lead others. Being able to pay attention and being attentive to the moment we are in and people we are around. This can lead to having real and positive impacts on the relationships we have and the outcomes we create.
Ghandi said be the change you want to see in the world, so focusing on being a mindful leader often means that you can be an inspirational role model to all that you influence. We often have enough time to get things wrong twice but not enough time to get it right first time, mindful leadership can help us achieve a greater degree of success first time every time.
This session is ideal for leaders and managers who would like to expand their capacity for focus, clarity, creativity, and empathy.
During the session you will:
• Learn why a mindful leader enjoys more collaborative relationships
• Discover why mindful leaders are more resilient in times of change
• Expand your understanding of curiosity and the benefits
• Become aware of when you have more choices available than you believed
All learning resources available in the CGMA Store qualify for CPD for CIMA members.
