    John Mark Williams, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the Institute for Leadership and Management, was appointed in September 2020, having previously held CEO and director positions in the UK, Middle East, and Far East, and with many years in leadership development and international business.

    John was formerly head of ACCA UK and has been a Global Advisory Board member for the Commonwealth Enterprise & Investment Council, a diversity champion for the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, and an adviser to the Cabinet Office on strategy and leadership.

    He is a member of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on International Trade & Investment and, has for many years been a guest lecturer on strategy and international business at universities in the UK and Europe.

    John gained his MBA from the University of Northumbria and, is deeply curious about the leadership implications of business agility, predictive analytics, punctuated equilibrium, and other baffling business things. He occasionally writes about business for online publications.

    Outside of work John has qualifications in sports psychology and sports massage, and his interests include running, cycling, writing, and coaching reluctant marathon runners.
