Mindset Reset: Seven Strategies to Build Mental & Emotional Resilience
Step into locus of control, reconnect with your agency, focus on what matters most, take ownership of your life and thrive, even in uncertain times.
Most people are carrying a heavy load right now – be it the workload, cognitive load, or emotional and psychological load. It is easy to feel overwhelmed and anxious when faced with so much uncertainty in the world. Dealing with issues related to continually evolving pandemic or worrying about the prices of petrol climbing, wars and climate change, while trying to stay on top of BYU at home and at work.
We are all fatigued – mentally, emotionally, and physiologically.
The struggle is real when we are flooded with external demands; trying to stay on top of the workload while managing relationships at home and at work or managing to stay afloat if we are battling it alone.
We will talk about how to process emotions and thoughts that lead to anxiety and stress and learn strategies to help you to self-regulate and stay in the locus of control. Everything depends on your state of mind. It’s a bit like driving the car. The road ahead of you is the same yet mindset is the difference between having your foot on the gas or on the break.
