Are you a MiP living in the East Midlands? Or maybe considering becoming a MiP? The Virtual MiP meeting is run by MiPs for MiPs, offering support, guidance and networking, as well as knowledge from our experienced presenters.
The meeting will be relaxed, informal and interactive so please come prepared to contribute questions, comments and your experience.
We’ll be hearing from our keynote speaker, Sam Lockwood, Director of Marquess Tax, who will be presenting on the incorporation of property portfolios, covering:
We will also have an open forum for local MiPs to discuss and share best practice. Share your experience and knowledge with like-minded peers, and make useful business connections.
Speaker: Sam Lockwood is a tax consultant who has spent the last 7 years advising clients on a wide range of property tax issues. He originally trained as a tax consultant with Grant Thornton and is a member of the Association of Tax Technicians and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Prior to Covid, he was often invited as a guest speaker for the National Landlord Association, presenting to its members how they might transfer their property investment portfolio to a Limited Company without triggering tax charges. He has an extensive knowledge of this topic having personally advised hundreds of clients seeking to incorporate their property investment portfolios.
