Leading teams that thrive without you is about stepping away: First, from micromanagement which has a speed limit, with your team running to your personal capacity and not theirs. And second, from being needy and wanting to do too much on your own, versus growing and enabling your people to do it on their own. Your focus should be on creating the conditions that enable your team to thrive without you! The most important focus for a leader is in creating the conditions that enable their people to deliver the success. You cannot micromanage your way to long-term success, you need to grow and empower your people to deliver on their own (both individually and as a team). Mark will share the 3 conditions that enable your people to deliver the success (and wherever they are located). Remember, if you don’t have a who, the who his always YOU!
In this session, you will learn the 3 conditions to empower your WHO:
Understand the core leadership skills that enable your people to deliver results on their own
Define specific leadership habits that create a strong 'ownership' role model for your team
See approaches that influence your people to take more 'ownership'
