Given that there have been significant changes in terms of requirements and regulations, our panel of experts will provide CIMA members who offer their professional services, both assisting charity clients and volunteering on boards, with an overview of the new codes of governance, the professionalism of charities and the manner in which they conduct their business.
CIMA Ireland have a significant number of members who, by the very nature of their qualification, give their time to support charity organisations. Hear from two of your peers, who will outline their involvement with their chosen charities, explore what Management Accountants can bring to the table from a practical point of view, and what they need to be aware of to remain compliant, highlighting that ignorance of new regulations, will not be acceptable.
Panel: Helen Martin, CEO Charity Regulators Frances McCandless, Chief Executive, Charity Commission for Northern Ireland Noella Carroll, ACMA, CGMA, Volunteer / Non-exec on the board with the SCS Leigh Brown, ACMA, CGMA, Volunteer position on the Board of Madlug Foundation (charity arm of Madlug CIC)
