Programme outline

In this interactive seminar, Sue will discuss how – despite Covid’s significant adverse effects upon the workplace and peoples’ working lives – it can be an opportunity to make a step change in your career and think about a new direction.

We will consider opportunities where your broad CIMA training enables you to use your experience, skills, and acumen in new contexts, e.g., process improvement, general or operational management. Is now the time to balance your specialist skills and experience with your interests, e.g., charities, sports, the arts?

You will receive a checklist to facilitate wise and informed decisions about new opportunities, ensure a good fit with your values, and how you choose to define career success in a post-Covid world. This will include how to optimise impact in your first 100 days. There is optional pre-work of completing a Values Scorecard.

Learning outcomes:

  • Ideas for managing your career in a post-Covid world
  • New ways to look for and filter potential opportunities
  • How to make informed, considered decisions about new opportunities
