Dan will explain the methodology that consistently delivers improved value outcomes for those that have learnt and applied the techniques. Based on a simple set of core principles you will be able to take control of negotiations, manage a wide array of different negotiation scenarios and deliver vastly improved outcomes. He will illustrate the importance of both improvement of personal negotiation capability and the need for organisations to engender a consistent ‘negotiation culture’ across functions. By the time you leave, you’ll have a clearer idea of what your organisation needs to do to have a commercial advantage.

Dan Meeke has 30 years experience of commercial negotiation primarily in the gas and power generation industries. A broad variety of roles extending from offshore gas projects, power station developments, energy commodity trading and import (to name but some) have provided a deep experience in a wide spectrum of high value negotiations. Through this experience, Dan has gained expertise and passion for the ‘art of negotiation’. It has illustrated the almost infinite universe of different negotiation types that one may experience and that each needs to be treated as unique and a strategy built that is particular to the circumstances. Negotiation is a complex discipline and so Dan founded Ozone to bring its clients a clear and simple platform from which to manage that complexity and do better deals.
