If you are thinking about broadening your knowledge of educational charities this will provide insight into one part of that sector, academies.
The state-maintained academy trust sector is often a place where CIMA/CGMA students and qualified accountants find themselves either in financial leadership or trustee roles. In a sector spending £26bn* per year on the education of children and young people, financial governance, financial management and control and the effective use of financial resources are high on the agenda.
Learn about the growing academy trusts sector from our panel of multi-academy trust experts as they provide their views on:
• What does financial governance excellence look like from both a trustee and executive perspective?
• How do multi-academy trusts ensure they use financial resources to provide the best educational outcomes for students; a trustee and CFO and CEO perspective
• Financial planning and effective use of resources; how does this support charity objectives in the academy trust sector?
The event will also include a talk by Guy Biggin, Partner, Social Purpose and Non Profits, Crowe UK.
