Our world is changing rapidly - physically, politically and economically. Business leaders have a responsibility to recognise and respond to a growing number of external drivers for change. Reducing the carbon intensity of business operations is becoming a clear strategic imperative.
David will explain some of the background to this shift, as well as illustrating how organisations can identify and implement actions that will make a real difference, both from a carbon and a financial perspective.
During this webinar David will discuss: • the role of business in meeting the carbon challenge
• how to develop an effective process and plan the journey
• how to evaluate both the financial and carbon impacts of key interventions
• fiscal reporting and disclosure requirements for larger organisations, and how to develop these into action planning
• details of the PAS2060 process which will ensure consistent high quality disclosure.
The presentation moves quickly from disclosure to action and explores improvement measures to minimise carbon intensity.
There is a clear role for financial professionals in developing and communicating associated investment business cases.
