Digitalisation is one of the most important trends reshaping economies and societies. It offers new opportunities to SMMEs and entrepreneurs to participate in the global economy, innovate and grow.
An important aspect of this transition is the possibility to generate and gather huge volumes of data, utilising several technological developments. Data analytics techniques enable firms to effectively analyse data, giving SMMEs a competitive edge. They increase productivity, for example, by reducing costs and strengthening the ability to identify or foresee trends.
