In this session we will cover Secure Connecting, Malware and Internet of things devices.

We will be covering:

Secure Connecting – What are the problems with the use of public wifi and how are they exposing our data.
Malware – What do they do and what is the impact?
Internet of things Devices - Those devices we put around our home for our convenience, are they secure?

Speaker: Detective Constable David Humphries of the City of London Police, on the Cyber Griffin Unit

Cyber Griffin is an initiative born in 2017 to bring cyber security advice to individuals and organisations in order to reduce the impact and volume of cyber crime. David transferred from having ten years of traditional policing and investigation in the Metropolitan Police to The City of London for this Cyber security role.
