We're delighted to invite you to an interactive 'Cyber Defenders' workshop which will include teams working together to identify why their organisation could be at risk, and who might want to target them, learning how to identify the characteristics of a ‘Phishing email’, with current and real life examples to work from.
The session will also look at the importance of ‘securing your device’, with some recent case studies as well as being able to demonstrate what a strong ‘password’ is, all in line with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) guidance.
PC Rob Cowgill will also explain to you how to help staff identify when and what to report to their IT team or line manager, as well as the pros and cons of current policies in place around Cyber.

PC Rob Cowgill comes from a strong training background. He has previously been the lead on Cybercrime training for West Yorkshire Police new recruits. Rob successfully gained a qualification in CISMP and has also completed various Firebrand and QA courses.
He delivers the 'Cyber Defenders' training to a wide range of businesses including charities, in order to develop a human firewall within an organisation. He can deliver tailored awareness sessions based on the national messages as well as workshops, to reduce those vulnerabilities within your network.
