Programme outline

Python can be used to automate routine & mundane tasks or perform highly complex machine learning. We’ll stick with creating a programme to perform compound interest calculations.

The 2i team will walk through how to breakdown a problem and then build up a solution in code.

Speaker details:

Liam Meagher – Quality Engineer 2i

Liam is responsible for some of 2i’s most innovative solutions on client site. His passion for learning and ease with stakeholders saw him nominated for a European Award for Graduate Software Tester 2021.

Stephen Fearnley – Associate Consultant 2i

Stephen has delivered some of the most technical projects during his first 6 months with 2i, most of those have been under the watching eye of a client CTO. His attention for detail and problem solving skills guarantee that he has a great career ahead of him.

Adam Pettman – Head of Engineering 2i

Adam has a background as technology problem solver. Since joining 2i he has created the 2i Engineering Department from scratch, going from 0 Engineer at the start of 2021 to XYZ at the beginning of 2022. With 2i’s plans for growth his focus will be encouraging career changers and apprentices to join 2i’s training programme and become part of the ever growing 2i Engineering team.
