24 June, 2021
7:00 pm - 8:00 pm BST
We’re delighted to introduce the CIMA North East England Area Book Club, and invite you to join our first discussion on Thursday 24 June, 7.00-8.00pm BST.
We’d like this to be as social an event as possible, so you’re most welcome to enjoy refreshments as we chat.
For our first review, we’ll be discussing The Infinite Game, from a library of multiple best-selling books by Simon Sinek - an unshakable optimist; and we could all do with a bit of optimism right now.
Simon believes in a bright future, and our ability to build it together; a world in which the vast majority of people wake up every morning inspired, feel safe wherever they are and, end the day fulfilled by the work that they do.
The more Simon started to understand the difference between finite and infinite games, the more he began to see infinite games all around us in which players had a finite mindset, their organisations tending to lag behind in innovation, discretionary effort, morale and ultimately performance.
Join the discussion, from which we’re sure you’ll have some useful takeaways to implement at your organisation. Have your refreshments at the ready for an informal hour of good debate, with a bit of socialising, and the opportunity to network.
We very much look forward to welcoming you.
